Welcome to Access Across Wales
The TGWU section of UNITE has had a series of education projects, funded by the Wales Union Learning Fund (WULF), for migrant workers in Wales The projects have aimed to provide ESOL language classes as well as advice and guidance to economic migrants who are living and working in Wales.This website has been established as part of the project Access Across Wales which has provided support through a network of drop in centres across Wales. The project has:
- Established teaching champions who work with economic migrants
- Recruited learning champions from the economic migrant community
- Funded ESOL courses
- Worked with centres across Wales to support the work of other agencies
- Provided advice and information on Employment rights
